In the new film Molly is a poetic journalist obsessed since birth with garlic.  She is Amos King's daughter by his first marriage.  Her mother died shortly after she was born.  She was raised on the King's farm which was known for the garlic crops.  She has travelled the world covering garlic stories, but comes home to a situation that is as bad as anything she witnessed as a journalist.  She is determined to understand the evil forces behind Big Red's theft of the NEK garlic crop.
